| Day 2 | Calgary - Banff | Calgary - Banff : Enjoy a short tour of Calgary before heading into the great Canadian Rockies and world-famous Banff National Park. On arrival in Banff, we explore the surrounding areas and view the odd shaped hoodoos standing guard over the Bow River Valley and Bow Falls. Look out for wildlife which includes elk, bear and wolves. | Day 3 | Banff - Lake Louise - Icefields Parkway - Jasper (2 nights) | Banff - Lake Louise - Icefields Parkway - Jasper (2 nights) : Our first stop is at Lake Louise. The amazing setting of mountain, lake, ice and sky will astound you. Learn about the wildlife, nature and history of the area as we take you on a narrated walk along the lakeshore. We then travel along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world's most spectacular drives. Marvel at the towering snow-capped peaks, azure lakes, thundering waterfalls, hanging glaciers and abundant wildlife. At the Columbia Icefield, we board an Ice Explorer for a unique ride on the enormous Athabasca Glacier. Then it is on to Jasper for a two-night stay. Optional activities include a cruise on pristine Maligne Lake, a scenic float trip down the Athabasca River, or a guided alpine hike through the unmatched jagged beauty of Mount Edith Cavell. We stop at Mount Robson Provincial Park, one of the Canadian Rockies' crown jewels, and enjoy the best views of Mount Robson, the tallest peak in the Rockies.
